Helping Women Feel Better Through Midlife – and Age Well Beyond It

Menopause and Healthy Ageing coaching for women 40+

If changes in your sleep, energy, weight, joints, mood or recovery are leaving you wondering what your body needs now, you don’t have to work it out alone.

I help women make sense of what is happening, identify what deserves attention and take realistic steps towards feeling better, becoming stronger and supporting their health for the years ahead.

Maybe You’ve Been Wondering What’s Going On

Perhaps your sleep has changed, your energy isn’t what it used to be or exercise takes more out of you than it once did.

You may be struggling with brain fog, aching joints, changes around your weight or waistline, or a growing sense that the things that used to help you feel well are no longer working in the same way.

Or perhaps it is harder to explain.

You simply don’t feel quite like yourself.

It is easy to assume you need to exercise harder, eat less or become more disciplined. But menopause doesn’t happen separately from everything else affecting your health and your life.

That’s why my work goes beyond delivering another exercise programme.

My role isn’t simply to help you exercise. It’s to help you understand what may be getting in the way of feeling well—and support you in making changes that matter.

Menopause is the Transition. Healthy Ageing is the Bigger Picture.

For many women, the menopause years are the first time they begin to notice that their health feels different.

But this stage of life isn’t only about managing symptoms or getting through menopause. It is also an opportunity to think about the years ahead.

How do you want to feel as you get older? What do you want your body to remain capable of doing? And what kind of health will help you keep living the life you enjoy?

Healthy Ageing is about more than your weight or appearance. It includes your physical capability, muscle and bone health, cardiovascular and metabolic health, cognitive wellbeing, independence and overall quality of life.

My approach considers what is affecting you now while keeping that longer-term picture in view.

Menopause may be what brings you here. Healthy Ageing is the bigger picture.

Strength for the Life You Want to Keep Living

Maintaining muscle and strength becomes increasingly important as we age.

But being strong isn’t simply about lifting the heaviest weight possible or proving what your body can do in the gym.

Strength supports everyday life: carrying your shopping, hiking up hills, travelling, enjoying sport, getting up from the floor and remaining physically capable and independent as you grow older.

Your strength training should reflect your experience, health, joints, goals and current capacity. For some women, that may eventually include lifting substantial weights. For others, the right programme will look very different.

The goal is not simply to become stronger in the gym. It’s to stay strong enough for your life outside it.
